General Manager Lin Ming-Chih of Chang Yi Electric stated that inverters are essential tools for adjusting the speed of three-phase motors. Chang Yi’s high-performance current vector inverters support V/F, sensorless vector control, and current vector control, and are compatible with synchronous motor drives. They offer instant high torque startup at 200% torque at 0.5Hz, with 150% overload capacity for 60 seconds, achieving excellent power-saving and operational efficiency.

These inverters come with built-in multi-function PID control and PID control dedicated for pumps, automatic energy-saving operation, instant power-up, dual independent motor parameters, and output frequencies ranging from 0.01 to 400Hz. They also feature zero-speed control, sleep/wake functions, 6-speed and 15-speed programmable operation, low noise, carrier frequency from 1–15KHz, and a compact design that delivers stable performance and high cost-effectiveness.

With over 30 years of experience in automation drive development and application, Chang Yi Electric has leveraged its niche in motor R&D and manufacturing. After launching sensorless vector inverters, and with extensive R&D and testing, the company now introduces upgraded high-performance current vector inverters in response to the global push for efficient and eco-friendly industries. These are designed for variable speed applications with AC motors, IPM, and SPM motors.

Lin emphasized that the inverter can automatically adjust the output voltage, enabling the motor to operate at a lower current, thereby minimizing energy loss and further improving efficiency. Sensorless vector control inverters estimate the rotor position based on motor parameters and work with independently configured motor settings, expanding application flexibility. The launch of Chang Yi’s high-performance current vector inverters meets market demands swiftly and supports industrial upgrading.
